New, boxed, original Apple service spare, 80MHz logic board with 8MB built in RAM for the Power Macintosh 7100. This is in its original Apple service spare box and includes the ROM SIMM and processor heat sink (which we have removed to clear the old, dried thermal paste and refitted with fresh thermal paste). It does not include the backup battery, level 2 cache SIMM or any RAM SIMMS as it is assumed you would take these from the faulty board being replaced. These are all available separately.
We have fitted this board once to allow us to test every function.
Although recommended, you do not need a functioning backup battery to use this machine unless you plan to use the AV port to drive a monitor. Without a battery, the AV port video out may not initialise.
